I personally have never seen the attraction in using drugs. I don't like doing things that will potentially have severe side effects on my body. I don't drink either (watching drunk people is more entertaining). Besides, think of all the money I save by not doing either!

In my area, methamphetamine is the worst drug problem as far as production. It hasn't happened to me before, but if somebody set up a meth lab in one of my rent houses, let me just say that it's horrible on land owners. Not only is there the risk of explosion/fire ruining the house, all that excess waste toxifies the area, and the house usually has to be destroyed anyway. I would say we need to do more to stop it, but drug use is probably never going to be completely stopped. Marijuana is another big drug in my area (isn't it everywhere in America?), and I suppose that it wouldn't matter to much to me if it was legalized (I'm sure a certain firefighter that sells it would be happy though).
